The Menagerie is your permanent pet collection log. It records the species, Skins and Auras you have discovered, separately from the pets you currently own.

What it records

Each species has an entry for its standard forms and for its cosmetic variants. Discovered entries show normally, and entries you have not found yet appear as silhouettes.

An entry unlocks when you hatch or create a matching pet, or when one of your pets gains a new Skin or Aura. Once unlocked, an entry stays in your Menagerie even if you lose, release or sacrifice that pet.

Filters

Use Filters to narrow the collection by Adventure type, Skin, Aura or status. With no status chosen you see everything. Pick Obtained to see what you have, or Missing to pick your next collection goal.

Viewing other players

Use Browse to look at another player's Menagerie by name or BcID. You can see which entries they have unlocked, but not which pets they own.

Collection leaderboard

The collection leaderboard ranks players by how many main entries they have unlocked. Main entries are the standard Skins and Auras of the base species and the current seasonal species. Bonus variants and supporter species do not count towards it.

Players with the same total are ordered by who reached it first. Players whose time is known rank ahead of those whose time is unknown. After that, the player with more completed species ranks higher, and then the lower BcID. See also Leaderboards.

Seasonal species

The current seasonal species counts as a main species while its season runs, but it cannot be bred. It is expected to become a base species when the season ends.

Bonus variants

Some variants are not part of the main collection. These include the Skins and Auras that only the Pyre can create (Burnt Skin, Smoldering Aura and Damned Aura) and the special Skins. They still fill in your Menagerie, but they do not move you up the collection leaderboard.

How the Menagerie connects to other features

• Breeding is the main way to discover new Skins and Auras. Hatching a pet fills in its entry.
• The Pyre's Phoenix Rite can be steered towards species you are missing.
• Specials that change a pet's Skin or Aura can unlock entries too.
• Every pet you own is part of Pets, and the Menagerie keeps the record after it is gone.
• The collection data is also available through the Data API.

Bonus progress badges now correctly count unlocked bonus auras.

Hatching pets and using collection-related special items now count toward your Menagerie progress, you’ll see unlocks update as you gain pets.
