== Watering and harvesting ==

Watering and harvesting are separate actions.

* '''Watering''' moves every planted plot forward by {{GameValue|farm.waterReduce}} of growth and gives you Weeds and Red Mushrooms. It has a cooldown, which is 30 minutes before perks. [[Deluge]] shortens it.
* '''Harvesting''' collects the crops that have finished growing. Watering alone does not harvest.
* You can combine the two by turning on '''Harvest on Water''' in the Gameplay [[Settings]], or by using the water command with its harvest option (see [[Commands]]).

The first time you water, the cooldown is already ready. The amount of Weeds and Red Mushrooms you receive grows with the number of planted plots, and [[Overgrowth]] raises it further.

=== Rainmaking Amulets ===

[[Rainmaking Amulet]]s are [[Equipment]] that cover for missed waterings. If one or more full watering cooldowns passed since you last watered, each equipped amulet is used up to cover one of them, and the watering you do then gives the extra growth and extra Weeds and Red Mushrooms for each amulet used. Several amulets stack.
