Museum

From Bconomy Wiki

The Museum turns rare collectibles into repeatable hand-in sets. Collectibles are found rarely while you perform Actions, and each collection asks for its own group of items.

It unlocks at the Aristocrat Rank rank.

Produces BC, and a Trophy for each completed set

Collections

[edit | edit source]
  • Donate every item a collection asks for to complete it. You receive its reward and the set resets, so you can complete it again.
  • Items you have not donated yet stay hidden until you start handing them in, so a collection reveals itself as you work through it.
  • Some collections are permanent. Others are seasonal and have a limited run.
  • Completions are announced to the whole server, and finding a collectible can trigger a global announcement.

Choosing your active collection

[edit | edit source]

Press Set Active on a live collection to choose which collection your future collectibles come from. The selected one shows Active. Finding a collectible does not guarantee it is the one you are missing, so check what you still need.

Rewards and repeat completions

[edit | edit source]
  • Each completion pays BC and adds one to that collection's Trophy count. See Trophies.
  • The base reward is 5,000,000 BC for every item the collection requires.
  • Repeated completions of the same collection pay more each time, rising through a number of tiers up to 1,000 times the base reward.
  • The Provenance Prestige perk raises the highest tier you can reach. Without it, you stay near the bottom tiers, so check your payout preview before assuming the maximum.

Sunset collections

[edit | edit source]

A collection that is winding down shows a Sunset countdown. Until it reaches zero it works normally: its collectibles still drop, you can still set it active, and you can still donate.

After the countdown ends the collection is sunset:

  • New collectibles stop dropping and it can no longer be set active.
  • You can still hand in what you hold. One hand-in clears everything you have for that collection.
  • Every complete set you own is paid out at its normal repeat reward and counts for its Trophy.
  • Each leftover collectible that cannot form another full set pays 1,000,000,000 BC.

Check the confirmation before clearing a sunset collection. Old collectibles no longer have a way to drop, so do not value them as if they did.

Seasonal dates change between years. Use the Museum page's own countdown and the game's announcements, not a calendar.

Connections

[edit | edit source]
  • Actions: collectibles are found while performing them.
  • Prestige: the Provenance perk raises the reward tier cap.
  • Trophies: each completion adds to a collection Trophy.

July 7, 2026 v2026.07.07
  • The Museum nav tab shows a badge counting how many collectibles you can hand in for your currently active collection (it hides when there’s nothing to hand in).
June 27, 2026 v2026.06.27 – Update 2

  • Two collections (Easter and Delayed Development Relics) are open again and will remain live until 2 July 2026, 00:00 UTC.

  • Players keep any collectibles they had hoarded, the amounts removed by the earlier premature sunset have been restored so reopening starts from the correct state. Trophies were also reset back.
June 23, 2026 v2026.06.23.2

New Features

  • The Gemstone Collection and Fossil Collection have been added to the Museum.
  • From an opened collection card you can now hand in glowing collectibles directly, no need to leave the card. There’s also a new Hand in all option to submit every item in that card at once.
  • Easter and Delayed Development Relics are now grouped under a new Sunset Collections area so they’re easier to find.
  • If the sunset migration runs and you still own leftover sunset collectibles, those leftovers will be converted into 1 billion BC per item.

Improvements

  • Collection cards now expand inline so you can browse without opening a modal, and the open/closed state of a card is remembered when you return to the Museum.

Bug Fixes

  • Very long collectible names now truncate cleanly inside Museum cards instead of shifting tiles around. The full name is still available on hover.
May 21, 2026 Relay Network (Game Update)
  • Museum broadcast updates. (TheDepartedOne)
    • Repeated completions of the same museum collection now update the existing global chat and Discord broadcast instead of spamming duplicate rows.
April 25, 2026 v2026.04.25

New Features

  • New Delayed Development Relics collection – five new collectibles to find.
  • On the Museum page you can now choose which collection future collectible drops target. Pick where you want new items to go!
  • Items are now grouped by collection in the Items tab, so it’s easier to see progress for each collection.
  • The Museum page now shows a gold glow when a player has a hand in available.

Improvements

  • BC rewards for completing museum collections now scale with repeat completions – you’ll earn more for repeats, up to a cap set by your Provenance (new perk).
  • Collections that require more collectibles now pay higher BC. Example ranges: Delayed Development Relics pays from 25m up to 25b, while Easter pays from 45m up to 45b.
  • Provenance can now reach level 19, unlocking access to up to Tier 20 Museum Rewards.
April 24, 2026 v2026.04.24.3

New Features

  • Open a collectible’s detail modal and click the 🌎 Leaderboard button to see who has found the most of that specific collectible (total acquired across all time).

Bug Fixes

  • If you had collectibles before the stat existed, a backfill has corrected your displayed number so it now matches your actual finds (including finds recovered from completed cycles).
  • This should fix cases where your collectible count looked lower than expected after the stat was added.
April 10, 2026 v2026.04.10
  • Museum evaluations that run during feed/levelup are gated behind a 5-minute internal cooldown; if the cooldown is active you’ll see a message explaining you must wait for the museum roll to be available.
April 6, 2026 v2026.04.06

New Features

  • There’s a new lifetime stat that counts every museum collectible you find.

Improvements

  • The Museum → Collections section now uses a distinct storage-box icon so it doesn’t repeat the main Museum emoji.
April 5, 2026 v2026.04.05
  • A brand-new Museum entry in the sidebar with its own page: overview, collection cards, and per-collectible detail screens.
  • Collectibles are stored in a dedicated Museum area, you can hand them in to complete repeatable collections.
  • Collectibles can drop from normal gameplay actions (actions, work, feed, water, generator claim). When you find one you’ll get a notification.
  • There are special seasonal sets – Easter collectibles are included. The first time someone completes the Easter collection they unlock the Eggstravagant title.
