It was removed in game update v8.2.0 on November 7, 2023.
History
Iron Pickaxes originally improved Items gained from exploring. Game update v5.7.0 on June 21, 2021 made them equipped Mining boosts. They were later called Iron Picks.

- The loot drop system now works on a 30sec/drop basis. Therefore you can find Extremely Rare items without having to wait at least 15 minutes. Exploring/mining at any amount of time will have the same efficiency as exploring every 30 seconds, so no need to spam pickaxe/excavators!
