Specials are individually tracked assets with their own attributes. They generally cannot be traded like ordinary items. Sources include seasonal rewards, Achievements, Boss prizes, Burn draws, and the Special Store where applicable. They are not ordinary Loot Action drops. Inspect each Special's expiry and restrictions; not every copy has the same lifetime or result.

Special What it does
Calibrated Amplifier 2x boost for its specified action for 20 minutes with a per-action use cooldown
Arbitrary Amplifier 2x boost for an action you choose for 20 minutes
Noetic Pulsator Fully refills actions for its eligible audience with a shared cooldown
Forbidden Modifier Permanently improves a natural level 50 tool with diminishing returns
Fairy Ring Adds a farm plot without increasing future normal plot purchase costs
XenoServer Adds a Relay module slot with special craft cost coverage
Golden Lariat Adds an adventuring slot without raising future stable purchase costs
Genesis Egg Creates a Generation I pet according to its attributes
Auralyzer Applies an aura to a chosen pet according to its attributes
Skinulator Applies the skin specified by that Special

Amplifier limits

At most two Amplifiers can be active on an action, with at most one Calibrated. That allows two Arbitrary boosts, or one of each. A Calibrated use has a one-hour cooldown for its action. Pulsators have a five-minute cooldown. Read the game's current availability indicator before planning an activation.

Join a community party

Players call a coordinated stretch of Amplifiers, Pulsators, and Boss activity a party. Use actions before a planned refill, prepare affordable item boosts, and check chat for timing. Stronger boosts can be valuable here, but spending an item is still your choice.

Global effects follow profile rules. Main and Ironman have separate shared boost pools. Hardcore does not receive those shared effects; eligible self-only Specials affect just their owner. Announce a planned shared Pulsator in chat so others can use their charged actions beforehand; a short countdown of around ten seconds is a useful community courtesy.

XenoServer benefits differ by Bay family. Mint gets full Salvage craft coverage; other families still require part of the Salvage cost. Read its preview rather than treating it as a free fully upgraded module.

Common chat shorthand includes cali for Calibrated Amplifier, arb for Arbitrary Amplifier, noetic for Noetic Pulsator, FK for Forbidden Knowledge, flake for Eternal Snowflake, and sigil or code for Obscure Sigil or Bconomy Sourcecode.
