Equipment

Equipment is the set of Items you wear on your own account. An equippable Item only works while it is equipped, so owning one in your inventory does nothing until you use Equip on its card.

Slots

You start with one equipment slot. The Hammerspace Prestige perk adds one slot per level, and the slot count is the total number of copies you can wear across all equipped Items.

Equipping more than fits automatically removes other equipped Items to make room, and they return to your inventory. You can never equip more copies of one Item than your slots allow. Check your loadout after changing it, especially before watering your Farm or gambling.

Equippable Items

Item While equipped Consumed?
Rainmaking Amulet Makes up for missed Farm watering. If extra waterings could have happened since you last tended the Farm, the amulet adds that growth when you next water. One equipped amulet is used up for each extra watering it covers. Several amulets stack.
Auspicious Coin Prevents the loss when a Coinflip would lose your stake. Each time it saves you, it has a 10% chance of breaking.
Fun House Coin Works like the Auspicious Coin for Coinflip. Same 10% chance of breaking each time. It is bought with Fun House chips and is bound to your account, so it can never be traded or sold.

If you wear both coins, the Auspicious Coin is used first. Rainmaking Amulets and the Auspicious Coin are Rare Items.

Equipment and pet held items

Equipment is separate from the Items a Pet holds. A weapon held by a Buddy is managed from that Pet's held Item controls, and Breeding Items are given to a Pet. These do not use your equipment slots, and equipping an amulet or coin does not affect any Pet.

Connections

  • Slots grow with the Hammerspace perk (see Prestige).
  • Amulets depend on how often the Farm can be watered, which Farm perks change.
  • Coins only matter at Coinflip, where your wager limit also affects how much a saved loss is worth.
