Reusable version-history navigation for update articles.
Usage

The update list is populated by the installed CategoryTree extension from main-namespace members of Category:Game updates. Add the category to an update article; no release list is copied into this template or its callers. Draft, user and template pages are excluded. The separate Version history index provides release chronology.
The list follows category sort keys and MediaWiki's normal category/cache updates. CategoryTree has a configured display limit; the All update articles link opens the paginated category, and Version history opens the full chronological index.
The optional index and category parameters select a different index or category. The index defaults to Version history when published, otherwise Draft:Version history.
