October 31, 2026	v2026.10.31.2	Improvements Open the new ⚙️ menu in chat to choose whether typed emoticons like 🙂 and <3 turn into emoji when you send a message. Timestamp settings have moved from the Settings page or channel list into the chat menu. Split chat remembers the panel heights you set for each combination of channels, even if you hide a channel and show it again. Choose Reset heights in the chat menu to make the panels equal again. Bug Fixes Mentions now work when punctuation is next to them.

October 7, 2026	v2026.10.07	The previous “Broadcasts” in-game message delivery has been retired and replaced fully with “Global Alerts”, which can be configured to serve the same functionality while also providing new, better customization options. Most in-game alert and notification systems, including player activity, personal notifications and action information output, have been overhauled to allow far greater customizability.
September 16, 2026	v2026.09.16	Messages you send from the web client now appear in web chat immediately If Discord is briefly unavailable we retry sending your message to Discord for a short while; if that still fails the message stays visible in web chat only. Typing :smile:-style shortcodes in chat now turns into the actual emoji for regular emojis too Emoticon shorthands typed as their own word, like :D, ;), or <3, turn into the matching emoji on the web client. Broadcasts (boss fights, ascensions, relay milestones, special finds, menagerie and museum completions) are stored in chat history again. turn it on if you want broadcasts from before you loaded the game to stay visible after a reload or reconnect

September 8, 2026	v2026.09.08	Progression and boss announcements show live but won’t stick in chat after you reconnect or reload. Repeated ascension, Museum collection, and Menagerie milestone announcements replace the latest matching entry while you remain connected. Discord keeps only the latest announcement in each ephemeral category: ascensions, collection milestones, rare and special finds, solo Ball Pit rolls, and each shared Ball Pit pool warning. Relay and boss event announcements still go to the Discord Events channel unchanged.

July 30, 2026	v2026.07.30	You’ll only see announcements that matter to your profile. Hardcore players won’t get giveaway, ball pit, or global-boost announcements they can’t act on. Giveaway announcements are now shown only to main profiles. Boost activations are announced only to the group they affect. Mains see main activations, ironmen see ironman activations.

May 7, 2026	v2026.05.07	Clicking a channel name in the chat dropdown now simply switches you to that channel like normal. Adding or removing a second (split) chat panel only happens when you click the switch next to a channel.
May 6, 2026	v2026.05.06	Chat can now show multiple channels at once in stacked, vertical panels – each panel has its own header, scrollable history, and its own input box (only one input for an active chat – click anywhere on another chat to reveal the input for it). Turn channels on or off from the channel selector dropdown (hover the channel header to open it) – each channel gets its own panel when enabled. Drag the divider between panels to resize them. Sizes will reset if you toggle panels on/off or refresh the page. Use the ▲/▼ buttons on a panel header to reorder panels. Toggle message times on or off with the 🕐 Timestamps option in the channel dropdown or in Settings. When on, each chat message shows message time at the start. Timestamps are intentionally hidden in the Console channel.
