Main and Ironman can unlock Factions at Recruit. Browse recruiting groups, read their description, and choose one whose activity and expectations suit you. Factions are separated by profile type: an Ironman joins an Ironman faction, not a Main faction.

Joining and recruitment

Some groups accept requests; Open Recruitment allows eligible players to join immediately. If a request is pending, wait for a qualified member to accept it or choose another faction. Leaders can toggle recruitment and set the public About text, internal Message of the Day, name, and tag.

Vault deposits are one way

Depositing BC converts it to Faction Points at 1 to 1. FP pays for faction systems and ongoing boosts. You cannot withdraw donated FP as personal BC. Grand Halls increase capacity; coordinate large expansions with the faction rather than assuming everyone wants the same spending plan.

Faction boosts can improve Loot Actions while draining the Vault. Stronger settings cost more to sustain. A moderate boost that stays funded can be more useful than briefly running every slider at maximum. Check the drain and current balance before donating money you need for your own farm or food.

Permissions and shared maintenance

Rank Main additional responsibilities
Private Deposit BC and expand Vault capacity
Corporal Adjust faction boosts
Sergeant Manage recruitment and join requests and move Mint buffer BC
Lieutenant Manage lower ranks and edit faction information
Leader Manage leadership identity and disbanding

The Audit Log records faction activity. Use it to understand deposits, boost changes, and management actions rather than relying on chat recollection. Relay Vault Routing can direct some Mint income into the faction buffer after its Research unlock.

Hardcore has a personal alternative

Hardcore cannot join a faction, but has a solo Vault for its own stepped loot and Boss benefits. It is funded by the profile's resources and has its own capacity and boost controls. It does not allow a group of players to pool value into a Hardcore account.

Treat solo deposits and ongoing drain with the same care as faction spending. Research can route Mint income to that personal Vault. Main and Ironman use real factions instead of this solo surface.

Figure 20 The Hardcore personal Vault. A Hardcore Vault has its own FP balance, capacity, deposit controls and boosts. Its multipliers reset if FP reaches zero. This is the personal alternative described in the chapter, rather than a faction shared with other players.
