Commands are text inputs typed in the Console. Every gameplay action has one, so the whole game can be played from the keyboard.
Bconomy started as a text game, and every gameplay action still has a text command. You can play the whole game from the keyboard. Power users often prefer it for speed.
The Console
The Console logs the output of every gameplay action: rewards, errors and the reason an operation stopped. It is also where you type commands. Open it from the chat panel heading and choose Console. Settings under Gameplay, Action Info, chooses where action feedback appears.
Run /help in the Console to open the Command Reference, the full list of supported commands.
Commands follow the same rules as buttons. Previews, costs and limits still apply, and a command fails with the same message a button would show. When something does not work, read the Console line before trying again.
Finding a command
You do not need to memorise commands. Perform an action the normal way, then open the Hotkey settings. The command equivalents of your recent actions are listed there, ready to copy or bind.
Example: /action/work runs Work, exactly like pressing its button. The default W hotkey sends this same command.
Hotkeys
Hotkeys bind a key or a combination with modifiers, such as Shift+F, to a page, a navigation action or any text command. Several useful hotkeys are set by default for quick access to pages and actions.
- Bind a recent action from the list in the Hotkey settings, or type your own command into the text box.
- Some browser and system shortcuts are reserved. The game rejects them when you try to assign them.
Hotkeys and commands are allowed; outside automation is not. Each hotkey press must be your own input. Autoclickers, macros, scripts and tools that send input for you are against the rules. See Account and automation rules.
