Quests are short goals that ask you to find certain Items with your Loot Actions. Finish every Quest in a set to raise your Quest Level and start the next, harder set. Each season of Quests has its own rewards, and the Quest Level resets when the season ends.

Takes in Items found by Loot Actions
Produces A higher Quest Level, and rewards you claim for each level finished
Resets Quest Level goes back to 1 at the end of each season
Affected by Boosts, Recovery (Quest Bank)

Quest sets

A set is a list of Quests. Each Quest names one Item and an amount of it to find. A set starts with 10 Quests, and each new Quest Level adds one more to the set, up to 50. A set can have fewer, because an Item is never asked for twice.

  • Only Items found by Loot Actions count. Buying an Item, or collecting it with a Pet, does not move a Quest forward.
  • The amount asked for grows with your Quest Level. Higher levels are harder.
  • Only everyday Items are asked for. The most valuable Items never appear as Quests.
  • Finds are counted as you run Actions, so multipliers from Boosts get you through a set faster.
  • Extra finds past what a Quest needs are normally wasted. The Recovery Bay's Quest Bank can store some of them for the next set.

Quest Level

Your Quest Level starts at 1 and goes up by 1 every time you complete a set. It shows how far you have gone this season. It is also ranked on a leaderboard, and the number of Quests you complete counts toward Achievements.

Rewards

You earn rewards for each Quest Level you finish. Rewards are not given automatically. Press Claim to collect everything for the levels you have finished and not yet claimed.

  • Rewards can be Items, Specials, Trophies and Salvage.
  • Rewards improve as you climb, and larger rewards arrive at higher milestone levels.
  • Some rewards are the same every season. Others change with the season.
  • The Quests window always shows what is currently on offer.

Seasons

A season is a themed period that sets the Quest rewards and the global events that run during it. When a season ends:

  • Your Quest Level goes back to 1, and you start a new set.
  • You keep every Item, Special and Trophy you earned.
  • Any rewards you finished but had not claimed are claimed for you.
  • The players with the highest Quest Levels are awarded season Trophies. The overall top player and the top ten get them, and Ironman and Hardcore players are ranked for them separately. See Profile Modes.
  • The final standings are saved, so past seasons can still be viewed on the Leaderboards.

Trophies that come from a season cannot be earned again once it is over.

Quest Bank

If you own a Recovery Bay with the Quest Bank upgrade, surplus finds past a Quest's amount are stored instead of being lost. When you complete a set, part of the bank is spent as a head start on the next one. The Bay's fuel charge controls how much it can capture and release. The Bay's controls let you choose which Actions to focus on.
