The Museum turns rare collectibles into repeatable hand-in sets. Collectibles are found rarely while you perform Actions, and each collection asks for its own group of items.
It unlocks at the Missing game reference: unlockRequirement rank.
| Unlocks | Missing game reference: unlockRequirement |
|---|---|
| Takes in | Collectibles found while performing actions |
| Produces | BC, and a Trophy for each completed set |
| Affected by | The Provenance Prestige perk, your active collection |
Collections
- Donate every item a collection asks for to complete it. You receive its reward and the set resets, so you can complete it again.
- Items you have not donated yet stay hidden until you start handing them in, so a collection reveals itself as you work through it.
- Some collections are permanent. Others are seasonal and have a limited run.
- Completions are announced to the whole server, and finding a collectible can trigger a global announcement.
Choosing your active collection
Press Set Active on a live collection to choose which collection your future collectibles come from. The selected one shows Active. Finding a collectible does not guarantee it is the one you are missing, so check what you still need.
Rewards and repeat completions
- Each completion pays BC and adds one to that collection's Trophy count. See Trophies.
- The base reward is 5,000,000 BC for every item the collection requires.
- Repeated completions of the same collection pay more each time, rising through a number of tiers up to 1,000 times the base reward.
- The Provenance Prestige perk raises the highest tier you can reach. Without it, you stay near the bottom tiers, so check your payout preview before assuming the maximum.
Sunset collections
A collection that is winding down shows a Sunset countdown. Until it reaches zero it works normally: its collectibles still drop, you can still set it active, and you can still donate.
After the countdown ends the collection is sunset:
- New collectibles stop dropping and it can no longer be set active.
- You can still hand in what you hold. One hand-in clears everything you have for that collection.
- Every complete set you own is paid out at its normal repeat reward and counts for its Trophy.
- Each leftover collectible that cannot form another full set pays 1,000,000,000 BC.
Check the confirmation before clearing a sunset collection. Old collectibles no longer have a way to drop, so do not value them as if they did.
