Inventory is not the same as equipped
[edit | edit source]Search for an equippable item in Items, open it and use Equip. Check the Equipped section afterward. Merely owning Rainmaking Amulets or Auspicious Coins does not activate their equipped effects.
You start with one equipment slot. Hammerspace raises the total number of copies you can wear across equipped items. Equipping more of a different item can automatically unequip existing items to make room and return them to inventory. Check your loadout after changing it, especially before watering or gambling.
| Item | While equipped | What can be consumed |
|---|---|---|
| Rainmaking Amulet | Makes up eligible missed Farm watering intervals when you next water | One equipped amulet for each extra interval covered |
| Auspicious Coin | Prevents the stake loss when a coinflip would lose | A coin has a 10% chance to be consumed each time protection triggers |
Rainmaking Amulets need a plan
[edit | edit source]Amulets cover additional full watering intervals beyond the ordinary watering you are performing now, up to the number worn. Each adds another watering's growth. Deluge shortens the interval, so the same absence can need more amulets. For example, three covered intervals add three extra waterings; check the watering feedback for the actual number consumed.
Amulets do not replace the Farm's crop-survival deadline. Keep crops alive and inspect the stock you are wearing before planning a long absence or using a valuable fertilizer. Remember that Harvest on Water is a separate setting.
Keep equipment and pet held items separate
[edit | edit source]A weapon held by a Buddy is managed through that pet's Held Item controls. Breeding items such as Cursed Charm and Mutagenic Sludge are also given to a pet. These uses are different from equipping an amulet or coin on your own account.
Auspicious Coins can be valuable to established players. On Main, compare selling one with the benefit of using it at your current wager limit. Do not spend early Runes on gambling perks simply because you found a coin.
