Dormant Rune was an Item in Bconomy. It had no active use before removal.

The Item was added to the game as Celestial Rune in game update v6.0.0 on May 12, 2022. It was removed in The Fearsome Factions Update on August 19, 2024. Players who owned this Item received the same quantity of Evil Tome in its place.

History

Before game update v8.2.0 on November 7, 2023, Dormant Runes could be consumed to obtain Rune currency for Prestige Perks. The update ended that use and returned previously spent Runes to players’ inventories. They were renamed from Celestial Runes in game update v6.1.4 on August 4, 2022.

June 11, 2022	v6.1.0	Lunar Shards and Celestial Runes are earnable from some quests! There is a ~3-5% chance of them appearing in a Hard Quest per reroll, and this chance is greatly boosted in Extreme Quests. Campaigns will always provide a reliable way to earn these as well. The Summer 2022 Campaign awards Treasure Chests. Lunar Shards and Celestial Runes can also be earned from Quests.
