History

Mashed Potatoes were introduced in game update v4.9.7 on April 6, 2021 as a craftable potato food and were later called Seasoned Potatoes. Both the raw and prepared potato Items could be fed to Pets for XP until Pet features became unavailable in game update v7.0.0 on December 18, 2022.

After A Pets Update on November 5, 2024, Russet Potatoes became usable as Pet food once again. Seasoned Potatoes were removed in The Quests Update: A Cold Start on December 5, 2024; players received DX Coolant in their place.
