Hey folks! I’ve been making improvements to keep Bconomy awesome (mostly outside of gameplay updates). Here are some announcements:

A small game patch was released today.

  • Skinulator and Auralyzer Specials are now functional
  • Quests that require finding Items worth over 500,000 BC will no longer generate
  • Ascension broadcasts no longer persist in Global chat logs
  • Beginner’s Guide and Game Wiki are now linked in UI (see below)
  • Performance improvements

Official Wiki

I’m excited to announce the launch of the Bconomy Official Wiki! It’s going to be our resource for documenting the game hosted on wiki.gg, a user-first wiki platform. Some community members and I have made some contributions to start, which includes several guides and community resources. I look forward to building upon the Wiki, and hope it will serve as a central knowledgebase for everything Bconomy players can rely on.

Data API

Following community requests, I’ve released the Data API, an official method of retrieving live game data from Bconomy. This resource can be used by third party tools that respect the Game Rules to fetch machine-readable game metadata, user profiles, market prices and more in real time. Check out the documentation to get started, and let me know in our Discord server if there’s any feedback or feature requests.

The Future

Soon after this post goes up, I’ll be running a poll in our Discord server to determine what the next major game update to Bconomy should be. All of the listed concepts will get implemented at some point, but the winning choice will get prioritized! Make sure to get your vote in before the poll closes in a few days.
