v2026.11.01
Release date November 1, 2026
Changelog v2026.11.01
← v2026.10.31.2

v2026.11.01 was an update to Bconomy released on November 1, 2026.

Changelog

[edit source]

A new update for Bconomy has been released.

New Features

[edit source]
  • Goals. (TheCarriedOne)
    • Set goals for items you want, plus Farm plots, Stables, Relay bays and Relay modules.
    • See your progress, what you still need to craft and which raw materials are missing.
    • Materials you own count toward your highest-priority goal first.
    • Use the shopping list to see and buy everything your goals still need.
    • Complete building goals from the Goals page directly. Relay module batch upgrades require Batch Operations research, as usual.
    • Get a message when you reach a goal, and choose to have it removed automatically.
    • The action sidebar shows your goal progress, and clicking a goal takes you to it on the Goals page.

Improvements

[edit source]
  • Fun House game polish. (ShadyBliss)
    • Roulette keeps the last eight numbers during your current page session.
    • Better animations, looks, sounds and feels across the Fun House.
    • Pressing Space again during a spin no longer scrolls the page or repeats the action. Focused buttons can still be used with Space when a game shortcut isn’t available.

Template usage

[edit source]

The header will be published as Template:Game update. Its right-aligned infobox contains the original WordPress post title, release date, Changelog link and previous/next navigation arrows. The infobox heading and Changelog link text use source-title, retaining the full original post title even when the Wiki article name is normalized. The normalized name is used in the lead; no separate Version field is needed. Bconomy uses regular roman text.

Display the converted body in a blockquote with a tinted backdrop and left border, using the Wiki theme colors. Preserve its nested lists inside the quotation. Keep the blog-post body under Changelog, converting only the markup and removing the standalone footer link to the Bconomy Credits page. Preserve the original wording, spelling, order, formatting, heading hierarchy, nested lists, other links and contributor names.

Use Template:Update history navbox at the bottom with {{Update history navbox}}. It automatically lists published update articles from Category:Game updates using the Wiki's installed CategoryTree extension. There is no release list to maintain in each article. The draft is excluded from that main-namespace list.

The infobox's previous/next parameters use canonical Wiki article titles and link directly to those articles. There is no blog-post fallback. The next arrow is hidden when its parameter is empty or its Wiki article does not exist. During backfill, create the update articles before completing their chronological neighbor links; verify that both directions point to the intended saved articles. The preview's previous article will become a working link when that article is imported.

{{Update history navbox}}

For legacy normalization, use Game Update (MM-DD-YYYY) for generic titles, and strip the date/Changelog or Bconomy prefix from versioned titles. Preserve distinct named updates. For example, an article named Game Update (12-23-2020) retains 12/23 Changelog as its infobox heading and original-post link label:

{{Game update
| name = Game Update (12-23-2020)
| released = 2020-12-23
| source = https://blog.bconomy.net/2020/12/24/12-23-changelog/
| source-title = 12/23 Changelog
}}

The stated December 23 release date is authoritative even though WordPress records publication on December 24. Backfill only actual released game changes; exclude community updates, teasers, preview builds, helper tools and standalone website updates after inspecting ambiguous post contents.

Parameters

[edit source]
Parameter Meaning
name Normalized Wiki update name used in the lead; defaults to the article title.
released Required release date in YYYY-MM-DD form. A release date explicitly stated in the post takes precedence over WordPress publication metadata.
source / source-title Original blog-post URL and full original title. The title is retained in both the infobox heading and Changelog link text.
previous / next Adjacent canonical Wiki article titles in release chronology; leave empty at an endpoint. Previous always links to the Wiki article. Next is shown only when its target article exists.

Published update articles belong to Category:Game updates and their release-year category. This draft does not populate those categories.
