It shows first in your pet list and, while it is actively adventuring with energy left, it multiplies the [[Loot Action]] its species prefers by +{{GameValue|pets.buddyMultPerLv}} times for each of its levels (each Tier counts as 100 levels). An idle pet gives no benefit. Your Buddy also joins [[Bosses]] fights. Switching Buddy has a cooldown that [[Playboy]] shortens. You can also keep one adventuring pet per Adventure type on a separate buddy list. Neither your Buddy nor buddy list pets can be released or offered to the [[Pyre]].
