== Your first Ascension ==

After God, [[Ascension]] increases your account Tier and returns your rank to [[Peasant]]. Your inventory, pets, farm, BC remaining after the cost, and other progress are retained. Earned feature unlocks persist. You gain <strong>5 [[Rune]]s per Tier</strong> for [[Prestige Perks]].

Rank costs rise on later climbs, and Ascension has its own cost. Keep BC for both. The rank destination control can help you plan a longer climb; Tier 0 means your initial climb before any Ascension. Read [[Guide:Prestige Perks|Prestige Perks]] before spending your first Runes.
