== Use the right source for the goal ==

Open an item to see its sources and uses. If a quest needs an action-found item, buying it or collecting it from a pet does not substitute for finding it through the required action. If you need materials for a purchase, those other sources can still be useful.

An action suddenly becoming ready can come from a [[Personal Boost]], an [[Amnesiac]] effect, a Pulsator, a Snowflake, or [[Recovery]]. Check the action's feedback in the <strong>Console</strong> and your active effects to see what triggered it. The same feedback may also appear in chat or popups, depending on your settings.
