You start with one equipment slot. The '''Hammerspace''' [[Prestige]] perk adds one slot per level, and the slot count is the total number of copies you can wear across all equipped [[Items]].

Equipping more than fits automatically removes other equipped Items to make room, and they return to your inventory. You can never equip more copies of one Item than your slots allow. Check your loadout after changing it, especially before watering your [[Farm]] or gambling.
